Sega XD, Sega\u2019s gamification subsidiary, has launched a peculiar new service that lets you \u201crent the brains\u201d of professional game designers. Appropriately called Braintal<\/strong>, the platform and its concept feel like a breath of fresh air amidst the ongoing \u201cAI brainstorming\u201d hype train. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Braintal<\/a>, entities like companies and local governments can request game developers\u2019 support in coming up with ideas, drafting proposals and working out the details needed to get a game development project started. The service is not available to individuals, and is being marketed towards corporations that want to create a game (presumably for marketing or other PR purposes) but do not possess human resources for game planning. The idea is to provide a way for companies to enlist game developers\u2019 expertise only when they need it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
