As the name implies, this is a year-long photo contest where users submit images they took in Death Stranding\u2019s photo mode based on specific themes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"781\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1400px) 100vw, 1400px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250123-43071-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43075\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250123-43071-001.jpg 1400w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250123-43071-001-380x212.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250123-43071-001-768x428.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Every month, Kojima Production will announce a new theme, and 20 player-submitted photos will be chosen as candidates for the \u201cPhoto of the Month.\u201d The winner for each month will be selected by the staff at Kojima Productions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the year, the 12 &#8220;Photos of the Month\u201d will be featured in the 2026 Kojima Productions calendar. This calendar (signed by Hideo Kojima himself) will be awarded to the 12 winners. In addition, Kojima will personally select a \u201cPhoto of The Year\u201d from the twelve candidates. The winner will receive the signed 2026 calendar as well as original goods (the details of which will be announced at a later date).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DEATH STRANDING PC - Photo Mode Making \/ Out Now\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RaaHzxOfJaQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 Death Stranding Annual Photo Mode Campaign will run from January 22 to mid-December 2025. The theme for January is \u201cVehicles,\u201d and submissions will be accepted between January 22 and February 10.
