But rather than the crossover itself, it\u2019s the ad announcing it that\u2019s gone viral, reaching far beyond its intended target audience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/vmo6TBov3WM?feature=shared\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The ad in question (linked above) has been viewed over 16 million times in only six days and generated much buzz across Japanese social media. Curiously, it features a more or less completely still frame of Golden Wind\u2019s protagonist Giorno Giovanna for most of its duration. Giorno just deadpans the camera in silence before uttering an anticlimactic \u201cBuon Giorno,\u201d which is Italian for \u201cHello.\u201d Meanwhile, the narrator introduces him as \u201cGiorno Giovanna. The more you look at him, the more you fall for him.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"559\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250117-42917-001.jpg\" alt=\"Giorno Giovanna in Monster Strike ad\" class=\"wp-image-42921\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250117-42917-001.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250117-42917-001-380x212.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/20250117-42917-001-768x429.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The internet has judged this combination of surreal lines, complete stillness, and strange pauses to be pure cinematic genius, causing the ad to become the franchise\u2019s most viewed video to date by a large margin.
