Masatomo Oba, series producer on the Dynasty Warriors franchise, recently attended the XP25 launch event for Dynasty Warriors: Origins<\/strong> in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (as reported by GameBiz<\/a>). The latest installment in the franchise will be published and distributed in the Middle East and North Africa by Manga Productions, a major Saudi Arabian game and anime production and distribution company (the same company that hosted XP25). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oba expressed his joy at being able to release Dynasty Warriors: Origins to the growing video game markets in the Middle East and North Africa. This is thanks in no small part to Manga Productions who, in addition to publishing and distributing the game in these regions, will be working closely with Koei Tecmo Games to deliver a localized Arabic version scheduled sometime in the second quarter of 2025. Oba hopes that with the Arabic version of Dynasty Warriors: Origins they “will be able to deliver a high quality title to our fans in the Middle East and North Africa,” and that the release will serve as a springboard for the localization of other titles in these regions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manga Productions CEO Essam Bukhary expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with Koei Tecmo Games, as the two companies signed a publishing and distribution agreement for Dynasty Warriors: Origins on November 25, 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“<\/em><\/strong>We are honored to be involved in the <\/em>distribution <\/em>of ‘Dynasty Warriors: Origins’ in the Middle East, produced by our respected Japanese partner Koei Tecmo Games. With this partnership, we are not only in charge of sales in the Middle East and North Africa region, but also worked with the Japanese development studio and Saudi Arabian staff to localize the Arabic version<\/em>.<\/em> (<\/em>\u2026<\/em>)<\/em> We are extremely pleased to be able to bring such a hit title to people in the Middle East and North Africa.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from interviews and panel discussions with Oba, Bukhary, and other influential figures, XP25 had a demo station where key opinion leaders (i.e. influencers and content creators) could try the game before its official release.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those looking to play Dynasty Warriors: Origins now can do so by purchasing the Digital Deluxe edition that provides 72-hour early access (which contributes to the game\u2019s high sales numbers on Steam<\/a>). A free demo<\/a> also allows players to experience parts of the main game at no cost.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is scheduled to launch on January 17 for the PC (Steam<\/a>), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.\u202f\u202fAn Arabic version of the game is slated for release in the second quarter of 2025.
