With its captivating world and <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/shift-up-ceo-says-his-stellar-blade-and-nikke-character-designs-come-from-following-his-instincts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alluring characters<\/a>, Stellar Blade sold over 1 million units in two months. It went on to be nominated in two categories (Best Score &amp; Music and Best Action Game) at <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/the-game-awards-2024-all-winners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Game Awards 2024<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a Shift Up representative quoted by Korean news site <a href=\"https:\/\/n.news.naver.com\/mnews\/article\/008\/0005137533?sid=105\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Naver<\/a>, the bonuses are given to provide encouragement to employees. Back in September 2021 when Stellar Blade was first unveiled under the working title \u201cProject Eve\u201d at a PlayStation Showcase, Shift Up founder and CEO Kim Hyung Tae <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20210914-2135\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gave each of the studio\u2019s then 260 employees a PS5<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/shift%20up%20founder%20and%20ceo%20kim%20hyung%20tae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a>This was during the great PS5 shortage, when each console was priced around 628,000 Won (roughly $540 USD).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the PS5 Pro currently does not have any titles that a base PS5 cannot run, it is nice of Shift Up to provide its employees with Sony\u2019s latest gaming console. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stellar Blade is currently available on <a href=\"https:\/\/store.playstation.com\/en-us\/concept\/10006891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PS5<\/a>.
