While it allows you to cover great distances in a single bound, holding down the jump button can feel awkward in certain situations (i.e. combat). Here\u2019s an easy way to make\u00a0The Hulk more fun and less cumbersome.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pressing-the-jump-button-once-is-easier-than-holding-it-down\">Pressing the jump button once is easier than holding it down&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-001.jpg\" alt=\"Marvel Rivals The Hulk settings menu\" class=\"wp-image-41042\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-001.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the \u201cSettings\u201d tab in Marvel Rivals and select either \u201cKeyboard\u201d or \u201cController\u201d (depending on your preferred input device). From here, choose the \u201cCombat\u201d subtab and swap to \u201cBruce Banner.\u201d Scroll down until you find the \u201cHero\u201d menu. Directly underneath the Hero menu is the \u201cHold to Activate Incredible Leap\u201d option, which is on by default.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deactivating this option allows you to charge both Hero and Monster Hulk\u2019s Incredible Leap abilities with a single jump input. Pressing the jump button again will launch you in the desired direction, with the charge meter beside your crosshair dictating how far you will go.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"pressing-the-jump-button-turns-incredible-leap-into-a-set-it-and-forget-it-ability\">Pressing the jump button turns Incredible Leap into a \u201cset it and forget it\u201d ability&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-002.jpg\" alt=\"Marvel rivals The Hulk gameplay\" class=\"wp-image-41041\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-002.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-002-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-002-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By turning Incredible Leap into a toggleable ability, you can essentially ready it for major encounters. <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/marvel-rivals-third-person-perspective-helps-alleviate-some-of-the-hero-shooter-genres-problems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vantage points and team fights can be scouted and reached<\/a> with an Incredible Leap. Once you\u2019re in the thick of things, immediately press the jump button again to charge up your exit strategy. Since you\u2019re passively charging Incredible Leap, you will be free to focus on other actions, such as attacking enemies with Heavy Blow, slowing them down with Radioactive Lockdown, or buffing allies and yourself with Indestructible Guard.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"easy-incredible-leaps-come-at-a-cost\">Easy Incredible Leaps come at a cost&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-003.jpg\" alt=\"The Hulk Incredible Leap charge gauge point of no return\" class=\"wp-image-41040\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-003.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-003-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/20241209-41029-003-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, turning off \u201cHold to Activate Incredible Leap\u201d has a few disadvantages. Basic jumps now require double button presses, making bunny hops more difficult to perform (bunny hops are integral in making yourself harder to hit by enemies).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incredible Leap also has a \u201cpoint of no return\u201d where a charged jump cannot be canceled. Once Incredible Leap is charged past the small red indicator in the charge meter, the only way for The Hulk to jump again is to launch himself at the full distance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having to be mindful of your jump inputs takes some getting used to, as it can feel clunky when you don\u2019t want to leap the length of a basketball court. Maps like Royal Palace (Yggsgard) and Hell\u2019s Heaven (Hydra Charteris Base) have multiple areas where you can easily fall to your death, so you might want to be careful when chasing enemies like <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/tips\/marvel-rivals-how-to-do-superhero-worthy-web-swings-as-spider-man-or-venom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a fast-moving Spider-Man<\/a> here.
