LightSpeed Studios announced on November 12 that it has established a new game development studio based in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. LightSpeed Japan Studio <\/strong>will be led by former Capcom developer Hideaki Itsuno.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itsuno, who was the director of the Devil May Cry and Dragon\u2019s Dogma series, left Capcom at the end of August 2024 after a 30-year-career at the company. Since his departure was announced, fans have been dying to know what he’ll be doing next, and now we finally know. According to the new announcement<\/a> by LightSpeed Studios, the veteran developer will be leading the development of original\u00a0triple-A action games at the new Japanese branch.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the announcement, Itsuno gave the following comment:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
