Maid Cafe on Electric Street <\/strong>is an upcoming cozy adventure game set to be published by PLAYISM for PC (Steam) on November 18. Developed by Adventurer\u2019s Tavern, the game will see you running a maid cafe and exploring an authentic pixel-art reimagining of one of Japan\u2019s otaku hotspots. The game will be playable in English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, with the maid characters fully voiced in Japanese with subtitles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Maid Cafe on Electric Street, you play as a down-on-his-luck protagonist who has just quit his job at a very toxic workplace and finds himself at Fuwa Fuwa, a maid cafe in the Nipponbashi district of Osaka, Japan. His luck is about to change as he gets appointed as the cafe\u2019s temporary manager. In this relaxingly paced game, you will run the cafe while getting to know the personalities of the four very different girls who work there. This means assigning each maid work that suits her personality and brewing up coffee for customers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that\u2019s not all. Maid Cafe on Electric Street involves exploring the town. Shanghai-based developer Adventurer\u2019s Tavern has put a lot of effort into creating a detailed, anime-style pixel-art version of the real life Nipponbashi district, an area filled with anime and game related stores. You can immerse yourself in this electric town by going on dates with the maids and doing various activities like singing karaoke, watching movies and going shopping. On the way, you will get involved in each maid\u2019s scenario, become absorbed in a big campaign involving the shopping center, and even get to grips with an evil spirit that haunts the nearby shrine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 16 real-life shops feature in the game, including retro game store Super Potato. You will also be able to get collectables from the capsule toy machines dotted around the in-game Nipponbashi and discuss your gacha hauls with the maids. Maid Cafe on Electric Street has collaborated with Mafusha: Sentinel Girls<\/a> and VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action to bring you in-game capsule toys based on these indie titles. You can also pick up video games, books and other merch to decorate your in-game room with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
