Nintendo just launched a new app called Nintendo Music<\/strong> on October 31. As the name suggests, Nintendo Music lets you listen to tracks from a range of game series, including The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario and Animal Crossing, on smart devices. The app is free to download, but requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the standard features that you can find on many music streaming apps like Spotify, Nintendo Music has some unique options. It has a \u201cspoiler prevention\u201d feature that lets you hide certain tracks (e.g. final boss themes) that might give something away about a particular game’s story. You can also seamlessly loop or extend your favorite tracks for up to 60 minutes, which is great if you just can\u2019t get enough of a particular tune (like Ocarina of Time\u2019s Song of Storms ditty).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app will also give you recommendations based on your Nintendo Switch play history and features themed playlists. At the time of writing, Nintendo Music features a diverse range of streamable soundtracks from the NES, SNES and N64 days right up to the present. Nintendo is planning to make more OSTs available on the app in the future.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
