The patent infringement lawsuit was filed on September 18, 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Nintendo\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.co.jp\/corporate\/release\/2024\/240919.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">news release<\/a>, the lawsuit claims that Palworld infringes upon several patent rights, Nintendo and The Pok\u00e9mon Company will be seeking an injunction against this infringement, as well as compensation for damages.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even since Palworld was released in Early Access in January this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20240122-25873\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">users have voiced concerns about similarities<\/a> to the Pok\u00e9mon series, with arguments heating up on social media as to whether the designs of certain Pals plagiarize those of Pok\u00e9mon.
