In a recent interview with Famitsu<\/a> about the multiplayer spin-off game Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, Motomu Toriyama hinted at when we can expect to learn more about the final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As director of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and co-director on the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, Toriyama seems to be completely absorbed in Final Fantasy VII\u2019s world and characters. Speaking to Famitsu, he explains that, \u201cI\u2019m also working on the Final Fantasy VII Remake Project\u2019s final part, so I sometimes feel a bit confused. If someone says \u201cHighwind,\u201d I think \u201cWhich one?\u201d Cid\u2019s airship the Highwind appears in Ever Crisis and was visible in the Upper Junon area of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In the final part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, the airship is set to play an even greater role as the player will finally be able to fly freely around the world map. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his comments about Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis\u2019s 2nd<\/sup> anniversary in September 2025, Toriyama reveals that \u201cBy then, we may have started to release information about the last part of the FFVII Remake Project, so I hope that players will get excited about that with us.\u201d This suggests that by September 2025, we may have already received concrete information about the last game in the trilogy, including its title, platform, trailers and even a release date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even now, snippets of information about the much-anticipated final part of Final Fantasy VII Remake are starting to trickle out \u2013 including the fact that it will contain a revamped version of Rebirth\u2019s popular Queen\u2019s Blood card game<\/a>. But just looking at the original Final Fantasy VII, we can assume that we\u2019ll get a nicely fleshed-out snowboarding minigame, and visit a number of new locations including Rocket Town, Mideel and perhaps Wutai. With both the hunt for Planet-saving Materia and encounters with Shinra and Sephiroth heating up, we will get to enjoy many more dramatic scenes before the final battle.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
