One popular debate that is going on right now is whether a Persona 4 remake done similarly to Persona 3 Reload would be viable at all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">ATLUS!!!!!!!! IS YOURS\u2026!!! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JNHwPnOo4N\">pic.twitter.com\/JNHwPnOo4N<\/a><\/p>&mdash; p3 #1 CHIE LOVER \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf7 \ud83c\udf31 METAPHOR arc (@p3illust) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/p3illust\/status\/1824861655315976452?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 17, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To put things into perspective, <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/persona-3-reload-ost-storms-up-charts-japan-and-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Persona 3 Reload was a remake of 2006\u2019s Persona 3 that updated the original game\u2019s graphics, gameplay, voice acting, music<\/a>, and much more. While some would say Persona 3 Reload cut a good half of the original due to the removal of the female main protagonist, there is more than enough content to justify the remake as its own title.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/20240820-35630-001.jpeg\" alt=\"Persona 4 dialogue\" class=\"wp-image-35657\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/20240820-35630-001.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/20240820-35630-001-380x214.jpeg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/20240820-35630-001-768x432.jpeg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20220112-17485\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Persona 4, on the other hand, has had various ports of an enhanced version titled Persona 4 Golden<\/a> since its initial release in 2008. Persona 4 Golden isn\u2019t a remake or remaster but adds new content such as 2 extra Social Links and a \u201cGolden\u201d ending. Some would love to see Yu Narukami and the rest of the Investigation Team return. A lot of the same people also want the original Japanese and English voice cast to reprise their roles. Considering Persona 4 Golden can still be played on modern platforms and plays well 16 years after its original release, the petition for lesser-known Atlus games to get remakes seems justified as well. We don\u2019t know what Altus has up their sleeves for the Persona series next, but they undoubtedly know how popular the series and its related games are.
