This could be due to the game\u2019s Easy Swing mode \u2013 which is on by default. It can be quite difficult to turn this option off, so here is a short guide on how to do everything a spider (and symbiote) can more intuitively.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-001.jpg\" alt=\"Marvel Rivals how to change control settings\" class=\"wp-image-34853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-001.jpg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First, go to the Settings tab and switch over to your preferred input device (either controller or keyboard). It is here where you can click on the \u201cAll Heroes\u201d tab and switch to either Venom or Spider-Man.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-002.jpg\" alt=\"Marvel Rivals Spider-Man how to turn off Automatic Swing setting\" class=\"wp-image-34852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-002.jpg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-002-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-002-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll down either of the two characters\u2019 settings and you will eventually find the \u201cHero\u201d section. This section is where you can tweak the settings for different heroes, such as the sensitivity of The Punisher\u2019s Culling Turret or whether you need to hold down or press a button to Wall Crawl as Spider-Man.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-003.jpeg\" alt=\"Marvel Rivals Venom how to turn of Easy Swing\" class=\"wp-image-34851\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-003.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-003-380x214.jpeg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-003-768x432.jpeg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For Spider-Man, you\u2019ll want to turn off \u201cAutomatic Swing\u201d. Venom\u2019s setting is labeled as \u201cEasy Swing\u201d but serves the same purpose. Disabling Automatic and Easy Swing makes it so that the characters shoot a web line directly where you are aiming \u2013 making for more precise web swing arcs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-004.jpeg\" alt=\"Marvel Rivals Spider-Man web swinging\" class=\"wp-image-34850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-004.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-004-380x214.jpeg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240730-34844-004-768x432.jpeg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While Easy and Automatic Swing automatically select grapple points to shoot you in the direction you are facing, they can lead to a lot of misplaced web swings. These can either fall short or too far from where you intend to go.
