The long dormant series\u2019 recognition was boosted by the 2021 release of Famicom Detective Club: The Two-Case Collection. These remakes put the series back in the spotlight and gained it new fans overseas. Hype has been building around the new version of the 1988 game <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/square-enix-team-asano-regrets-announcing-the-dragon-quest-3-hd-2d-remake-too-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">since it was announced back in 2021<\/a>. Dragon Quest 3\u2019s remake will implement QoL improvements including <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/dragon-quest-3-hd-2d-remake-will-have-a-performance-mode-for-ps5-and-three-difficulty-settings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">three difficulty settings and a performance mode for PS5<\/a>.
