While the reveal has been massively popular, with players already proclaiming the Fatal Fury crossover character as their future main, there\u2019s been some mixed feelings about Terry\u2019s looks, especially among Japanese fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Street Fighter 6 - Terry Teaser Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9LUExu3qU-o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be wondering what could possibly be wrong with Terry\u2019s appearance, but it probably has less to do with him looking bad in Street Fighter 6 and more to do with him being astonishingly pretty in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. When he appeared as a downloadable newcomer in the 2018 Smash entry, Terry Bogard had masculine but soft and almost anime-like facial features.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Terry Bogard assumes a much more realistic appearance in Street Fighter 6, as is apparent from the recent trailer. Ultimate is burned into my mind, but his face in Street Fighter 6 looks so tough and manly that I\u2019m panicking like, is this really okay??&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that fans who were used to Terry\u2019s looks in Smash are struggling to accept his makeover. Users have also <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PommTomo\/status\/1815206684509524179\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pointed out<\/a> that his side profile in the SF6 trailer suggests a much \u201ccooler-looking\u201d front view than the one revealed, which may be causing some of the troubled reactions. On the other hand, some players prefer Capcom\u2019s take on Terry to Smash\u2019s, as one user emotionally <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AGTR2000\/status\/1815211815116386574\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">comments<\/a>, \u201cHis face is very realistic \u2013 this is definitely how Terry would look in the world of Street Fighter 6. It\u2019s just so good, thank you Capcom.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, there is no right or wrong in the matter, especially as SNK characters don\u2019t have fixed appearances even in mainline entries.
