Set to be published by NIS America, a new trailer has also dropped for the English version.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Trails through Daybreak II -  Announcement Trailer (Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, PC)\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sI7TgkoXqMk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak 2 is part of the long-running Trails series. It is a direct sequel to turn-based action RPG Trials through Daybreak, which came out in 2021, and saw an English release in 2024. In Trails through Daybreak 2, players will return to the Calvard Republic. Playing as bounty hunting detective Van Arkride, they must get to the bottom of a shocking series of murders. The English release of the game will give players the option of either English voice acting or Japanese voice acting with English subtitles.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" src=\"http:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240709-33713-001.jpg\" alt=\"The Legend of Heroes Trails through Daybreak 2\" class=\"wp-image-33721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240709-33713-001.jpg 900w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240709-33713-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/20240709-33713-001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With over 16 games, a rich lore and in-depth world-building, the Trails series can seem intimidating to new players, however the Trails through Daybreak games (Calvard Arc) have been <a href=\"https:\/\/rpgamer.com\/review\/the-legend-of-heroes-trails-through-daybreak-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cited as a good place to start<\/a>. Trails series fans can hopefully expect even more announcements this year, as 2024 marks the series\u2019 20<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary.
