Akatsuki Games and Production I.G announced a video game based on the Kaiju No.8 <\/strong>(Monster No.8) anime series on June 16. Tentatively entitled Kaiju No.8 The Game, <\/strong>the upcoming free-to-play title will be released for PC and mobile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the popular action manga series by Naoya Matsumoto, the Kaiju No. 8 anime started airing in April 2024, meeting with positive reception and topping charts on local streaming platforms. The story follows Kafka Hibino, a typical office worker who gains superhuman powers after his body is invaded by a Kaiju. With the ability to turn into giant monster himself, Kafka joins the Defense Force dedicated to neutralizing Kaiju. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaiju No.8 The Game is being planned, produced and developed by Akatsuki Games. Specifics about gameplay have yet to be revealed, but the title will be free-to-play and include microtransactions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
