The update includes notes on crowdfunding and platforms on which derivative works (such as fan games) may be distributed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/touhou-project.news\/guideline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Touhou Yomoyama News<\/a> and the announcement by ZUN (seen below), creators of derivative Touhou works are asked to refrain from crowdfunding their projects, especially without permission. I was asked about whether it\u2019s okay to upload fan works to indie game sites. I am, of course, fine with this. \u00a0Also, I\u2019ve added a point asking indie creators to refrain from crowdfunding.\u00a0<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, the distribution of Touhou fan games has been limited to in-person sales events and \u201cdigital stores where the original games are sold.\u201d However, the new update adds \u201cindie game sites\u201d to the list of greenlit platforms.
