Although the potential sequel depends on Stellar Blade\u2019s reception, Kim already seems to have ideas about what it would be like, as he revealed in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.famitsu.com\/news\/202403\/27338068.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Famitsu<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Stellar Blade - Demo Teaser | PS5 Games\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C3GLEPFrlhw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the interview, Kim is asked about the protagonist Eve\u2019s young appearance and age. He responds by mentioning that Far East Asian people are known for looking younger than their actual age, which he made sure to reflect in the designs of the whole cast. In this context, he comments that Stellar Blade\u2019s characters are all adults and most likely a lot older than most users imagine. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, Kim\u2019s suggestive mention of a sequel to Stellar Blade comes in the context of whether the player will ever get to know the real ages of Eve and her crew: \u201cAs for their ages, they might be revealed if there\u2019s a sequel.\u201d To the interviewer\u2019s exclamation at the word \u201csequel,\u201d Kim amusedly says, \u201cYes. So, whoever\u2019s curious about their real ages, make sure you play and give Stellar Blade lots of love, and we will give you answers in the sequel.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stellar Blade has been generating a lot of attention leading up to its release, owing to its similarities with Sekiro and NieR: Automata, as well as its attractive graphics and character designs. On the other hand, Shift Up\u2019s upcoming title is also receiving some criticism for how sexually it presents Eve. It seems that Stellar Blade\u2019s developers are already locked and loaded to get started on a sequel, so the rest will depend entirely on how players respond to the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an aside, Kim also commented on the possibility of a photo mode being added to Stellar Blade future. While the development team is too busy getting the game ready for release at the moment, Kim mentions that he will readily respond to players&#8217; wishes in the future, so those who would like a photo mode will benefit from being loud about it (in moderation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/store.playstation.com\/en-us\/concept\/10006891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stellar Blade<\/a> is scheduled to launch on April 26 for the PS5.
