The post reached Tekken 8\u2019s director Kohei Ikeda and producer Katsuhiro Harada, who offered their condolences and a solution to the bereaved player.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest entry in the fighting game series, Tekken 8, was released on January 27. The game features a new mode called Super Ghost Battle. Tekken 8 can learn an individual player\u2019s way of playing the game and reproduce it in the form of an AI Ghost. The AI Ghost uses a reinforcement learning method to quickly learn the player\u2019s movements. Apparently, it can accurately reproduce the characteristics of a player\u2019s fighting style, such as their typical movements, behavior patterns and techniques used. AI Ghosts are generated for each character the player uses and it is possible to download other players\u2019 ghosts to fight against them in Super Ghost Battle Mode.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:316px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Tekken\/comments\/1axmi8m\/can_ai_ghosts_be_permantly_saved_my_brother_just\/\">Can AI ghosts be permantly saved? My brother just passed suddenly&#8230;<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/Melodic_Insect1356\/\">u\/Melodic_Insect1356<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Tekken\/\">Tekken<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As stated in the Reddit post above, user Melodic_Insect1356 lost his brother suddenly. He asked if there was a way to permanently save their brother\u2019s AI Ghost so he could play against his brother\u2019s imitation sometimes. He was concerned that with Ghosts being stored on the servers, that eventually his brother\u2019s Ghost would be deleted due to inactivity or an update. Redditors responded with many kind comments and were able to bring the post to the attention of Tekken 8\u2019s producer and director, who wrote the following replies on X.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My deepest sympathy<br><br>[ If you download and save your brother&#39;s ghost locally, you can still play against it anytime even if the data is lost from the server.
