In a message to the community, he calls the ongoing discourse lazy, while encouraging players not to feel guilty about putting down the game and enjoying other titles while they wait for new Palworld content.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">With Palworld quickly approaching the 1-month mark, it&#39;s interesting to look back at my own thoughts for launch.<br><br>In May of 2023, I was convinced that Palworld could break the 50,000 player mark. Anything above that seemed unobtainable though, and I certainly never expected it to\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1rZaV30QON\">pic.twitter.com\/1rZaV30QON<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Bucky | Palworld (@Bucky_cm) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bucky_cm\/status\/1757796446739558795?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 14, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Palworld released in Early Access less than a month ago. The release has been a sweeping success, as the game broke records in sales and quickly peaked at 2.1 million concurrent players (via SteamDB), becoming second only to PUBG: Battlegrounds. Since hitting this milestone at the end of January, Palworld has seen a gradual decrease in concurrent players, with recent peaks hovering around the 500k mark.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fact resulted in a number of articles about \u201cPalworld losing X% of its player base,\u201d inciting pessimistic discourse about the game\u2019s future. In response to this, PocketPair\u2019s Bucky chimed in to encourage the community to look past the headlines and to remember that taking breaks from games is not something to feel bad about.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/20240123-25950-header.jpg\" alt=\"Palworld title screen\" class=\"wp-image-27215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/20240123-25950-header.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/20240123-25950-header-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/20240123-25950-header-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/20240123-25950-header-600x338.jpg 600w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>PocketPair has an ambitious roadmap set out for Palworld, planning various future updates such as new islands, Pals, technology, a Pal Arena, PvP and more.
