Japanese real estate company SUUMO and Monster Hunter<\/strong> will feature in an unlikely collaboration starting on February 5. Featuring SUUMO\u2019s fluffy green alien mascot helping various monsters from Capcom\u2019s series to find their dream home, the advertisements will appear in major train stations in Tokyo and Osaka starting on February 5 (source: Famitsu<\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUUMO is a real estate company that operates the largest property listing site in Japan. The site allows you to narrow down your search by selecting not only the location and train line but also by ticking various checkboxes related to what you are looking for in an apartment or house. This seems to be the feature that SUUMO wishes to highlight in its new ad campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The advertisements feature various monsters from the Monster Hunter universe, which celebrates its 20th<\/sup> anniversary this year. It\u2019s unclear whether they are looking to buy or to let, but they certainly have some very specific requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s start with Rajang. The thunder-elemental beast that was introduced in Monster Hunter 2 has managed to find its ideal residence by choosing the following search terms- \u201ctopmost floor,\u201d \u201cautolock,\u201d \u201cmusical instruments allowed\u201d and \u201csoundproof room.\u201d Given Rajang\u2019s tendencies to be very violent and loud, the apartment\u2019s security features and soundproofing are probably for the benefit of other residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, a cute and friendly cat-like Felyne seems to have found an idyllic location. The property is of course \u201cpets allowed.\u201d It is also \u201csouth-facing,\u201d which should suit Felyne\u2019s farming tendencies.\u00a0 It has a \u201creheating bath\u201d and \u201cunder floor storage\u201d as well as a \u201cbuilding manager,\u201d as everyone knows that pet cats need slaves, I mean owners.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we have a hungry-looking Khezu. We hope it is happy with its \u201ccorner room,\u201d which is also \u201csoundproof\u201d and \u201cbarrier-free,\u201d and in a \u201cdesigner building\u201d no less. To be on the safe side, fluffy green Suumo is making a hasty retreat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Suumo mascot seems more confident in showing Rathalos its new digs. The \u201cbalcony included,\u201d \u201csecurity camera\u201d and \u201cheated floors\u201d should suit this fire wyvern. It\u2019s also \u201cavailable for immediate move-in” and \u201cDIY allowed\u201d so maybe Rathalos can do some decorating with its talons? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monster Hunter Rise is available now on PS4\/PS5<\/a>, Nintendo Switch<\/a>, Xbox One\/Series S|X<\/a> and PC<\/a>.\u00a0Monster Hunter Wilds<\/a> is scheduled to be released sometime in 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
