In a recent interview, the game\u2019s developer has mentioned the possibility of a sequel that would take place in a new environment.\u00a0<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\uff18\u756a\u51fa\u53e3\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/03fCgS6eu_8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Exit 8 is the debut title of Japanese indie developer Kotake Create. The short but thrillingly addictive game has you wandering the seemingly endless passageway of a Japanese subway station, looking for exit number 8. The rules are simple, you look for anomalies while walking, and must turn back as soon as you spot one. If there is no anomaly, you must not turn back. The liminal space-inspired game sold an impressive 30,000 copies within a day of its launch and has been growing in popularity ever since, proving to be a favorite among streamers in particular.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespark.jp\/article\/2023\/12\/11\/136732.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Game*Spark,<\/a> Kotake Create mentioned that, although they have been receiving requests to update The Exit 8 with new anomalies, they do not plan to do more than bug fixes in the future.
