Their video demonstrating the train\u2019s smooth journey along the rails is almost romantic, although there\u2019s the occasional cannon fire going on.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/186odrw\/realisticish_steam_locomotive\/\">realistic-ish steam locomotive<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/Welkinian\/\">u\/Welkinian<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/\">HyruleEngineering<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In homage to The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, r\/HyruleEngineering member Welkinian names their locomotive \u201cSpirit of Kakariko.\u201d The armed locomotive goes miles to achieve the look of a classic old-fashioned steam engine, with a Zonai Frost Emitter emulating smoke coming from the smokestack, and a Zonai Hydrant acting as a boiler.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The locomotive doesn\u2019t disappoint in performance either, as it maneuvers along the winding rails of Death Mountain\u2019s descending loop line without stopping or derailing. According to the creator, it can also drive forward and in reverse. The locomotive has a mounted cannon on its top part, but apparently faces the risk of blowing up when it comes to close-range fire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/tearsofthekingdom\/comments\/144v15q\/turns_out_this_game_was_a_stealth_spirit_tracks\/\">Turns out this game was a stealth spirit tracks sequel all along!<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/HS_Seraph\/\">u\/HS_Seraph<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/tearsofthekingdom\/\">tearsofthekingdom<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Welkinian\u2019s impressive build was inspired by an earlier project of Redditor HS_Seraph. As seen in the post above, HS_Seraph had also engineered a fully functional train in Tears of the Kingdom, applying unique ideas such as using Cooking Pots as hinges to attach the train\u2019s carts to each other. This creative solution makes the connection between carts smooth and prevents rigid snapping when cornering. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Welkinian adopted this Cooking Pot+Mine Cart combination and added it to the front of their locomotive, which fixed the issue of derailment.
