The company has not announced exactly which titles they are working on, but they did mention that these games will be developed by \u201cexperienced studios.\u201d St\u00e9phane Longeard, CEO of Microids, stated that they \u201ccannot wait to unveil the two projects we\u2019re working on and we strongly believe they will surprise a lot of people!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katsuhiko Iwaki, President and Representative Director of Taito, also made a comment saying \u201cWe have full confidence in Microids capability to revive two of our licenses through the titles they will offer in the coming months. Gamers will be amazed to experience these games come back on today\u2019s consoles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taito has been making arcade games such as <em>Space Invaders<\/em> since the 1970s. The company has released numerous titles including <em>Bubble Bobble<\/em>, <em>Puzzle Bobble<\/em>, and <em>Darius<\/em>. More recently, they are also known for series like <em>Groove Coaster<\/em> and <em>Densha de Go!<\/em> But judging by Iwaki\u2019s comment, Microids&#8217; new games will likely be using Taito\u2019s older IPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Microids sees this as an opportunity to grow in international territories, \u201cespecially in Japan.\u201d I\u2019d say it\u2019s safe to assume that the games will come out in Japan as well.
