Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade<\/strong>, the new iOS\/Android mobile game based on the popular manga and anime, was released in Japan on November 21. Developed by Sumzap, it is a free to play turn-based RPG that features many characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen universe \u2013 including fan-favourite Satoru Gojo. Gojo may be the most powerful in the source material, but in Sumzap\u2019s new RPG he has been given an unusual debuff to counterbalance his over-the-top strengths- much to the amusement of Japanese X users<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jujutsu Kaisen began as a manga by Gege Akutami, which is being serialized in Japan\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine. The story is set in a world where spiritual forces called Curses seek to harm humanity. These Curses are born from people\u2019s negative emotions resulting from hardship or regret. The series depicts the battles between Curses and the Jujutsu Sorcerers who can control cursed energy and use it as a martial arts-like technique. The Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade game is a fresh interpretation of the TV anime story, with newly recorded voice lines for all characters. The gameplay features turn-based battles and gacha elements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Satoru Gojo is a Jujutsu Sorcerer who works as a teacher at the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School. He has a nonchalant and sometimes arrogant personality. Even in the manga and anime, he is described as having strengths that are very different from the other Jujutsu Sorcerers, making him the most powerful character.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade game honors this characterization with Gojo appearing in the SSR (Strongest) Gojo form. His auto-skill \u2018Limitless\u2019 allows him to nullify enemy Curse Skills (attacks) from the moment battle starts. The game highlights Gojo\u2019s standing as Jujutsu Kaisen\u2019s strongest character by giving him powerful attack abilities in addition to the evasion auto-skill.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To counter these strengths, Gojo has an amusing drawback that has been attracting attention on Japanese social media. SSR Gojo has another auto-skill called \u2018Urgent Business\u2019 where he suddenly remembers he has something else important to do, and leaves 7 turns after the battle began. The nature of his \u2018urgent business\u2019 is unknown, but Japanese X users have been amused at how Gojo suddenly decides to up and leave the battle.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
