Recently, things have gone magical with the invention of a flying broomstick, the creators of which are the r\/HyruleEngineering users.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/17x9svd\/my_version_of_ufriendlywhitewitch_s_broomstick\/\">my version of u\/friendlywhitewitch &#39;s broomstick<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/Scared_Cry_4931\/\">u\/Scared_Cry_4931<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/\">HyruleEngineering<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Having a look at this demonstration by user Scared_Cry_4931, the broomstick itself seems to be assembled from Hylian Rice and a Tree Branch using Fuse, with a Zonai Steering Stick attached to the combination. As Link takes hold of the Steering Stick, the Zonai Fan above him generates wind, which whisks the DIY broom into the air. Despite the Fan levitating above it, it\u2019s a rather legitimate-looking flying broomstick.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re wondering what\u2019s keeping the Fan fixed in place like that in mid-air, this is made possible with \u201cStake Nudging.\u201d Stake Nudging is a technique that allows you to pull elements of your build away from each other physically while keeping them attached. This is done by incrementally stretching out the glue connecting the materials, and detailed tutorials can be found on r\/HyruleEngineering and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/s158MO3M128?feature=shared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">YouTube<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/15c9lnn\/stake_nudging_guide_quantum_linking_in_120_credit\/\">&#34;Stake Nudging&#34; Guide: Quantum Linking in 1.2.0! (Credit to ProfessorParsnips for the discovery)<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/TheArtistFKAMinty\/\">u\/TheArtistFKAMinty<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/\">HyruleEngineering<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried recreating the flying broomstick using this technique in the latest version of Tears of the Kingdom (Ver.1.2.1), and was delighted to find out that it works. I started by attaching a Steering Stick to a Fan, then attached two Stakes to both sides and drove them into the ground. Though there\u2019s a limit to how much you can stretch things out at a time, the procedure can be repeated using Autobuild. This gives you parts that look disconnected but act entirely as a single object.
