The rules also allow for local multiplayer mode.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new world record was set by Jhay, who has done many Mario speedruns up until now, particularly in the Super Mario Galaxy series, where he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.speedrun.com\/ja-JP\/users\/Jhay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ranks No 1.<\/a> in multiple categories. At first, his time was 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 21 seconds, which is quite slow compared to his latest record. However, he continued to repeat his runs and achieved a record of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=trTyM3_ANyw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 hour, 41 minutes, and 13 seconds<\/a> on October 30. The next day, he broke the 40-minute mark with a time of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Mbj7yMSYLNc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1 hour, 37 minutes, and 15 seconds<\/a>, and finally, this time he managed to shave another 3 minutes off his time to set a new world record of 1 hour, 37 minutes, and 15 seconds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These significant leaps in clear time are related to recently discovered glitches. First, at the end of October, a method was found to skip the Castle in W1. He seems to be <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NotImJhay\/status\/1719416087366832224\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">working on achieving<\/a> a 1 hour and 32-minute run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an aside, there are different variations of speedruns for Mario Wonder, such as the \u201c100%,\u201d where you have to clear all stages and collect all Flower Seeds and Wonder Coins, as well as the \u201cAll Royal Seeds,\u201d where you play normally, without relying on glitches. Incidentally, the \u201cAll Royal Seeds\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.speedrun.com\/ja-JP\/smbw?h=any&amp;x=9d8w137d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leaderboard<\/a> already has 77 player records listed at the time of this writing even though it\u2019s been only 10 days since the game launched.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:12px\"><br><br><br><br><em>Written by.
