It is described as a premium, cutting-edge food delivery robot intended for use in restaurants, malls, hospitals and similar environments. The robot boasts advanced navigationing and positioning technology, with an impressive obstacle-detection system and 0.5 second reaction time to obstacles. Recent years have seen the use of the BellaBot increasing rapidly in Japan, with Skylark Group, a company that operates so-called \u201cfamily restaurant\u201d chains in Japan, being the leading force behind the robot\u2019s nationwide dissemination.
