The story takes place in the late Edo period. One rainy night, a brother and sister who run an umbrella shop are attacked by a group of men. The brother, Yushin, is killed, with only his soul remaining, and his sister Yui disappears without a trace. The player plays as the brother, who sets out on a journey to find Yui. The protagonist Yushin\u2019s ability to possess other people&#8217;s bodies is a key element. Possession allows the player full control over various characters and access to their weapons and fighting styles. Also, depending on who you possess, the opponents you come across will change. ACQUIRE\u2019s involvement can be felt through the traditional Japanese essence and highly flexible game system. Izanagi Games is the creator of unique IPs such as Death Come True and Yurukill The Calumniation. These two ambitious companies have come together to create AMEDAMA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The character design is by lack, the popular illustrator who has worked on a wide range of designs for games and trading card franchises, and the OST of the game will be provided by Yuko Komiyama, who famously wrote Tremble of the Sea and Land \/ Lagiacrus for Monster Hunter 3 and other songs. The game will depict a rainy Edo (historical Tokyo) with novel 2D graphics that combine a Japanese taste and pixel art.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AMEDAMA is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC (<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2411980\/AMEDAMA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam<\/a>).
