These towns frequently encounter various troubles and go through changes. One such example is Lurelin Village, a fishing village located in the southeast of Hyrule. Originally a peaceful place, in Tears of the Kingdom, it has been taken over by a band of Bokoblin pirates. In one of the game\u2019s Side Adventures, Link trounces these pirates, and together with carpenter\/architect Bolson, sets about rebuilding the damaged village. He requests materials to aid in the restoration project: 15 logs to rebuild each building\u2019s foundation and 20 bundles of Hylian Rice to repair the thatched roofs. While there are many palm trees located around the village, you can\u2019t get the logs from these, as Bolson is going to use them for something else. Thus, you need to cut down some trees on a hill far removed from the village and then carry them back there. This is the moment when players can put their ingenuity on display.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is because the spot where you gather the lumber is awfully far from the village. Sure, you can grab the logs with Ultrahand and go on foot, or bundle them together and have a horse pull them, but the &nbsp;great distance has players seeking out more efficient methods. This has resulted in many players showing off all kinds of impressive ideas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/147yjni\/made_a_two_part_truck_to_get_logs_to_lurelin\/\">Made a two part truck to get logs to lurelin<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/AffectionateEstate\/\">u\/AffectionateEstate<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/\">HyruleEngineering<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, the player in the above video went to the trouble of building a truck to transport the logs. The logs were all loaded onto the truck and then they drove it to the village. Although they did have a big accident part way there\u2014where the truck got split in two\u2014the process of building a vehicle especially to carry the logs looked like a lot of fun. Another player decided to take more of a \u201ckill two birds with one stone\u201d approach, creating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/14a3kq7\/110_would_not_recommend_16_logs_as_the_base_for_a\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201clog car\u201d<\/a> by joining the logs together and adding wheels.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Delivering 15 logs to Lurelin Village  #Zelda #shorts #tearsofthekingdom\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/s_r1x6xBS5M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One could also make use of the terrain between the logging area and Lurelin Village. Since the logs are located at the top of a hill, you can use potential energy to aid in transporting them. As you can see in the video below, one player joined the logs together to create a large cylinder and simply rolled it down the hill to the village. It\u2019s an inventive method that has the logs transport themselves, the reverse of the what you would normally expect.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-reddit wp-block-embed-reddit\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height:500px\" ><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/comments\/14az2w7\/anybody_else_deliver_the_lurelin_logs_this_way\/\">Anybody else deliver the Lurelin logs this way? Has to be one of the fastest methods.<\/a><br> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/twolf201\/\">u\/twolf201<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/HyruleEngineering\/\">HyruleEngineering<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"UTF-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s also an exceedingly simple method: just drop the logs off a cliff. All you need to do to deliver the logs is throw them down to the village (you can connect them together to make it easier, of course). To be honest, the characteristics of the surrounding terrain make this method rather efficient. However, possibly due to the technical specifications of the game, logs that leave your field of view often disappear. Make sure that you diligently pursue your falling logs, lest the time and effort you put into gathering them comes to naught.
