The tweet states that there\u2019s no limit on how fast characters can spin and includes a video of a trainer spinning around. The magnificent pirouette garnered a lot of attention and received over 10,000 retweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I just discovered that there&#39;s no limit to how fast you can spin your character and I can&#39;t stop laughing <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6QR5MdaNHA\">pic.twitter.com\/6QR5MdaNHA<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Arlo (@ArloStuff) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ArloStuff\/status\/1596744948778688512?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 27, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> series introduced full 3D gameplay during the 3DS era, and if players continuously rotated the circle pad, the character would perform a spin. More specifically, this was first identified as a feature in <em>Pok\u00e9mon Sun<\/em> and <em>Moon<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/nlab.itmedia.co.jp\/nl\/articles\/1611\/21\/news077.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u306d\u3068\u3089\u307c\/Nlab<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword<\/em> and <em>Shield<\/em> also had a spin that could be performed by rotating the analog stick, but <em>Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em> and <em>Violet<\/em> take it to another level. Rotating the stick quickly will bring the character\u2019s spin up to a fixed speed, so it doesn\u2019t seem limitless, but the top speed is considerably faster than previous games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pok\u00e9mon Sword<\/em> and <em>Shield<\/em> implemented a nice little twirl, and <em>Pok\u00e9mon Legends: Arceus<\/em> doesn\u2019t have a spin move at all, but <em>Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em> and <em>Violet<\/em> kick it into overdrive with unexpectedly high-speed spinning action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"fr\" dir=\"ltr\">Dance! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/PokemonKarmesinPurpur?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#PokemonKarmesinPurpur<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/NintendoSwitch?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#NintendoSwitch<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pMGGyTrueb\">pic.twitter.com\/pMGGyTrueb<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Herr X (@HerrClay) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HerrClay\/status\/1594474724494835712?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 20, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Furthermore, when trying to spin while riding Koraidon or Miraidon, they will appear to not like it and stop. Additionally, no matter how fast you spin, your character will stumble afterwards. In other words, the high-speed spin was likely introduced intentionally, incorporating speeds high enough to make someone stagger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But while it\u2019s pretty fun to spin your character around, there is some risk. When it comes to quickly spinning analog sticks, players tend to use the palm of their hand instead of their thumb. I (the original author of this article) ended up with a red mark on my hand after testing. Even after washing my hands multiple times, it still hurts. For that reason, I recommend not going too hard when spinning your analog stick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While somewhat unrelated, <em>Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet<\/em> and <em>Violet<\/em> seem to have a number of odd bugs that involve spinning. Many players have spotted instances of the Pok\u00e9mon they\u2019re walking around with in the field spinning around and NPC trainers spinning when dispatching their Pok\u00e9mon.
