{"id":15875,"date":"2022-09-26T10:58:09","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T01:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/?p=15875"},"modified":"2022-09-26T10:58:10","modified_gmt":"2022-09-26T01:58:10","slug":"20220926-15875","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20220926-15875\/","title":{"rendered":"BlazBlue series creator Toshimichi Mori has left Arc System Works"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br><br>Game creator Toshimichi Mori <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/zatuyoP\/status\/1573869908651393031\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced his departure<\/a> from Arc System Works on September 25 (JST) while saying he hopes to deliver a game to fans in some form or another in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toshimichi Mori is known as the creator of the <em>BlazBlue<\/em> series and produced a number of fighting games during his time at Arc System Works. Mori previously worked at PicPac-Airreal who were involved with the development of <em>Guilty Gear X<\/em>. This led to him joining Arc System Works where he has been involved in making fighting games for roughly the last 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his time at Arc System Works, Mori acted as the producer of the<em> BlazBlue<\/em> series and other titles like <em>Persona 4 Arena<\/em>. He also made character illustrations for the first and third games in the <em>BlazBlue<\/em> series and oversaw the scenario of <em>BlazBlue Alternative Dark War<\/em>, a mobile game that was shut down in January of this year, as the general producer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toshimichi Mori\u2019s name was recently removed from the list of company directors on the Arc System Works website which caused rumors to spread among fans before he released this statement that revealed his departure to the public. Mori\u2019s statement goes on to thank the Arc System Works staff and all the players that have supported their work while apologizing for any worry his departure might cause <em>BlazBlue <\/em>fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mori wrapped up by saying he hopes to deliver a game to players in some form or another, so this may not be the last we hear from Toshimichi Mori.<br><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:12px\"><em>Written by.
