Capcom has released the latest update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak<\/strong> <\/em>(patch Ver.11.0.2), which fixes a number of issues related to Qurious Crafting and Anomaly Investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to adding Lucent Nargacuga and three other new monsters, the free Title Update 1 for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak<\/em> also added new types of quests called Anomaly Investigations. Materials obtained from completing these quests enable you to perform Qurious Crafting. With this new system, you can improve a weapon\u2019s stats, such as attack power and affinity, or you can randomize the functionality of armor, which either improves or worsens the armor\u2019s defense, elemental resistances, and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is an excerpt from the new patch notes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Fixed an error that occasionally occurred if you register an equipment loadout containing a weapon with a Rampage Decoration, rollback the upgrade for that weapon, and then try to select that particular equipment loadout again.

– Fixed an issue occasionally affecting the results of augmenting armor when performing specific steps while augmenting a weapon.

– When changing the target in the search settings for Anomaly Investigations, the minimum level value will no longer be updated if the target is within the range of adjustable conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second point shown above seems to be a fix in relation to rerolling in Qurious Crafting. The results of performing Qurious Crafting with armor are random but still come from a set pool of possible outcomes. And even if you reload your save data after crafting something undesirable, you will end up with the exact same result the second time around. There is no way for players to make things go differently when rerolling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, prior to the update, some players found that it was possible to manipulate the outcome pool. For some reason, performing specific actions during Qurious Crafting of weapons seemingly made it possible to alter the results of armor crafting. This meant that crafting outcomes could actually be rerolled and was a method for players to obtain desirable results without using up materials.

The new update for the game removes this unintended issue which allowed players to achieve things without putting in the actual work. Some issues related to Anomaly Investigations were also fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that players can no longer rely on the easily performed glitch, we will likely see more players participating in multiplayer Anomaly Investigations in order to obtain Afflicted Materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
