Thank you for your continued support.<\/font><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Hiroyuki Kobayashi joined Capcom as a programmer in 1995. After working on titles like <em>Resident Evil<\/em>, he went on to work as a producer for series like <em>Dino Crisis<\/em> and <em>Devil May Cry<\/em>. He also oversaw the <em>Sengoku Basara<\/em> franchise which spanned games, anime, and stage plays. In recent years, Kobayashi has mostly been involved with supervising anime and video content and hasn\u2019t had much public involvement with game development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While turning 50 on August 12, Kobayashi took the opportunity to make public that he has left Capcom and joined NetEase Games. His tweet reveals that he is working as a producer at the company and information about what he is working on will be released at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There have been a number of career Japanese game creators moving to the Chinese company NetEase Games recently, including <em>Yakuza<\/em> series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi who <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20220124-8890\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">launched his new studio<\/a> under the tech giant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Goichi Suda\u2019s studio Grasshopper Manufacture is <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20211022-4618\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">under the NetEase Games umbrella<\/a> and NetEase Games\u2019 own Ouka Studio is also gathering proven talent in the industry.
