A new AI-powered shogi (Japanese chess) analysis service for professional players called Kishin Analytics<\/strong> was released in Japan by HEROZ on July 4 (JST). The service has a free and paid plan with the paid plan costing 11,000 yen (roughly $80) per month for 10 hours of usage. Each minute over that amount will cost an additional 20 yen per minute.

Kishin Analytics is a service that lets users have shogi games analyzed by the latest deep learning shogi AI dlshogi and by Yaneuraou\u2019s Suishou shogi AI all from a web browser. The service provides simple one-button controls. This is also the only way to access the latest version of dlshogi. Kishin Analytics can be used with Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox browsers running on either Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Game analysis using deep learning shogi AI generally requires high-end GPUs and CPUs and is complicated to implement, with regular hardware and software upgrades also being necessary. This has created a growing information gap in shogi AI analysis. Kishin Analytics aims to tackle these hurdles all at once with a service users can access directly from a web browser. The company says the currently available model is analyzing roughly 2 billion moves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that the free plan does not include AI analysis, but users can save and reference up to 100 games in the cloud. This includes the ability to open, replay, and edit game records.
