The list they created contains 100 popular indie games, and by checking off the titles that you have played, you\u2019ll get to find out your \u201cindie gamer score.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">ok but whats your INDIE GAMER score?? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9Ls685Rg2d\">pic.twitter.com\/9Ls685Rg2d<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Akupara Games \ud83d\udcab Indie Games Publisher (@akuparagames) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/akuparagames\/status\/1538920125960790020?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 20, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not the first time that a list like this has been created, as Twitter user @ZweiDouble <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ZweiDouble\/status\/1528733569224409090\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released<\/a> something similar back in May. The list titled \u201cWhat is your VARIETY gamer score?\u201d contained bigger name titles like <em>Mario Bros.<\/em>, <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em>, and <em>Final Fantasy<\/em>, while the list from Akupara Games focuses solely on indie games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The indie game list includes massive hits like <em>UNDERTALE<\/em>, <em>Terraria<\/em>, <em>Stardew Valley<\/em>, <em>Among Us<\/em>, <em>Cave Story<\/em>, and <em>Fall Guys<\/em>, as well as an assortment of fan favorites like <em>FURI<\/em>, <em>Oxenfree<\/em>, <em>Path of Exile<\/em>, <em>Darkest Dungeon<\/em>, <em>Yume Nikki<\/em>, and <em>Va-11 Hall-A<\/em>. There are also some titles whose indie status is maybe a little questionable these days, such as <em>Minecraft<\/em> and <em>PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS<\/em>. Regardless, the list seems to be comprised of a large number of highly acclaimed games from a wide range of genres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akupara Games CEO David Logan revealed his personal score of 65\/100, which was a little lower than the score of 71 from the person handling the company\u2019s Twitter account. Ben Kosmina of Fellow Traveller, the publisher behind games like <em>Citizen Sleeper<\/em>, <em>Neo Cab<\/em>, and more, also took the challenge. He achieved a score of 51 but stated, \u201cSome of these I can\u2019t play due to the excessive indie strobing (I have epilepsy), or notorious difficulty that many games have embraced.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/KosmologyB\/status\/1538989828129161216\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The list actually has a mistake in it: <em>Slay the Spire<\/em> appears twice. After this error was pointed out, Akupara Games <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/akuparagames\/status\/1538930160119996423\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">replied<\/a>, \u201cdefinitely on purpose definitely wasnt a mistake definitely just love Slay the Spire THAT much.\u201d Alex Miller-Okiyama, developer of<em> Rune Fencer Illya<\/em>, seemed fine with this, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AMO_Crate\/status\/1538998299612459008\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stating<\/a>, \u201cI&#8217;ve absolutely played enough slay the spire for me to mark it two times.\u201d Many different people have similarly used the list to show love for their favorite indie games. There was even one <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/xyberknight\/status\/1538934137351970822\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">player<\/a> who checked off 97 titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This list might invite a little bragging from some gamers, but it has served different purposes for different people. Many have used the list to look back on some of their favorite titles while others have discovered new games that they haven\u2019t played before.
