Players are tasked with driving a train through Japan, with each game in the series set in a different region. By operating a train through these places, players are given the opportunity to experience the enjoyment of a journey in Japan. Featuring Full HD live action footage and information regarding tourist spots and other points of interest along the way, playing the game is somewhat like going on a virtual trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The game is based around the Eizan Electric Railway, which runs through the city of Kyoto and even to beautiful mountainous areas. There is abundant nature along the line, and it is famous for the vibrant colors of its maple leaves in the fall. The game features three screen size settings: 1280&#215;720, 1920&#215;1080, and a borderless full screen mode. Steam trading cards and badges are also supported, and the game can be played in English or Japanese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Journey to Kyoto<\/em> marks the first game from the series to be released on Steam, with most games having been released for the Nintendo 3DS or the Switch.
