It\u2019s a high intensity mode with a time limit, and that feeling of rushing through the battleship is captured perfectly in the background music. It\u2019s one of many popular works from composer Jun Ishikawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The arrangement itself is comprised of two songs from <em>Kirby Super Star<\/em> called \u201cBoarding the Halberd\u201d and \u201cHavoc Aboard the Halberd.\u201d However, it\u2019s common for these songs to be combined together and called \u201cMeta Knight\u2019s Revenge\u201d in many arrangements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This award-winning version of the song was performed by The 8-Bit Big Band and features chiptune artist Jake Silverman, a.k.a. Button Masher. The arrangement itself preserves that frantic nature of the original, while adding a luxurious, jazzy flair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Meta Knight&#039;s Revenge (From &quot;Kirby Superstar&quot;) (feat. They\u2019re renown for not only preserving the magic of the original pieces in their arrangements and performances, but now, for being Grammy award winning artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group\u2019s leader Charlie Rosen took to the stage to thank all who were involved, as well as Nintendo and Jun Ishikawa, the original composer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We won a grammy.
