Japanese company Imagineer Co. Ltd. announced on July 1 the release window for a Joy-Con Attachment designed specially for the rhythmic boxing game Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise<\/strong><\/em> on Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manufactured by peripheral maker HORI, the controller accessory is officially licensed by Nintendo and is due to arrive in stores in September. Preorders are live now and will set you back 2280 yen (around US$20).

The Joy-Con Attachment is a pair of peripherals which fastens the hand-held Joy-Cons to the player\u2019s hands. The clear protective cover is made of polycarbonate, and once affixed to the Joy-Cons, you slip your hands through the hand belts and fasten with the harness. The belt is freely adjustable for different hand sizes. With the handgrips secured, you will be comforted to know there is no chance of you dropping your controllers accidentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Incidentally, should your workout prove too taxing, you can also grab a towel and wipe off your sweat during a Fitness Boxing 2 <\/em>workout because the Joy-Con Attachment frees your fingers from having to grasp the controllers. The protective covers keep your Joy-Cons from sweat and grime, and can be detached if the fabric hand belts require washing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
