It\u2019s scheduled to come out in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The DioField Chronicle - Debut Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T62KUVFuLwg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The DioField Chronicle<\/em> is a new strategy RPG by Square Enix set in a world that blends fantasy, medieval, and modern-day influences. It\u2019ll feature an epic tale of war and honor, and \u201cReal-Time Tactical Battle\u201d (RTTB), a real-time combat system with an option to pause. Players will have to assess the situation and give orders to units while taking advantage of the environment and each unit\u2019s strength. There are a variety of skills, classes, and equipment that players can use to conquer the battlefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a home base where you can move freely to get ready for the next battle, like purchasing and researching new weapons, upgrading units, customizing team composition, and so on. The battles are depicted using a combination of diorama-style visuals and realistic 3D environmental art to give the game a distinctive look while maintaining visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The DioField Chronicle<\/em> is being co-developed by Square Enix and Lancarse (<em>Monark<\/em> and <em>Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth<\/em>).
