Snoop isn’t ignorant of this fact and makes the entire thing scummy, bizarre and tactless. Using Japanese actors was a thing that made sense to a degree considering genre and Yakuza central story, but has erased likeness of other characters which has rubbed people the wrong way with remasters. Stranger Than Heaven seems to have very different vibes than Yakuza did and series has since it’s wanted to distance itself from being about the crime organization. It’s seemed aimless thereafter.

My enthusiasm for the game has gone down the more I’ve learned of the project and wish it was it’s own IP.
