Sometimes designs must be personal of what one likes, they must be willing to be vulnerable or bold, otherwise it will never stand out and become unique in of itself, drawing the viewer in. That is very true when it comes to fetish designs or even just great character designs as a whole. Kim is correct on his take, and this is something that i think many need to keep in mind when creating characters. They do not need to be visually stunning with Ray Tracing etc, but they can stand out stylistically and have an easier time to make them glossy like porcelain dolls to speed up the modeling process as well.
