The steam machine was always going to be a piece of garbage. Granted before the ram issue it would have been a slightly cheaper piece of garbage but it was always going to suck. Now that it’s out and people can see for themselves that it sucks they are going to Pivot away from everything they’ve been saying about this machine. They’ve been thing for over a year how this thing was a console killer and was going to blend consoles and PC into something that could play all of your Steam games which is stupid because I can just plug my damn computer into my TV but now they’re backtracking that and saying they never meant for it to be compared to a console. And the worst part is that steam nose that they released a piece of shit a big steaming piece of shit but they’re going to try to sell it to people like it’s the best computer that’s ever been made. I sat down and figured out the price of comparable hardware and you can build your own steam machine for less than $700. I think the steam machine is going to go down as one of the biggest flops in recent history.
