You’d think you’d only apply if confident, but may explain what we see in industry for some time now. So much art is now ‘online centric’ and doesn’t require imagination if everyone is drawing anime girls. Technical skill is one thing, but if everyone is doing it, AI does it to, then how can you stand out?

Japan wish every legitimate artist out and definitely the creative one will never get a chance. I think a portfolio with process would work as well, how many will go through effort of that and still use AI?
