That’s so disappointing. I’d say maybe something needs to be done to correct it, like moving anime-related music to its own Billboard category, but since it makes so much money and that’s all anyone cares about, nothing will be done. Oh well, there’s a pretty strong indie scene in Japan, so at least there’s that, even if none of it has any hope of becoming a big hit.
