So basically, it'll be a game with gameplay mechanics and philosophy over a decade out of date, focusing on 'hyper-realistic graphics' just like every other AAA game nowadays.
It's only selling point is "Look, we can cram in and animate 25 more individually rendered nose hairs and 10 more armpit hairs than *current most hyper-realistic game*".
And it will lose that sole selling point 6-8 weeks/months after launch when the next hyper-realistic slop gets released who's only selling point will be "We have 5 more nose hairs and 3 more armpit hairs than *Project Awakening* "

This is what happens when you have zero deadlines and unlimited money flowing in from money with games like Umamusume & Grandblue. Even worse when Ambition and Resources are not properly constrained, money and time is wasted. Kojima and Nomura managed to push out hits with less resources, time and funds.

By waiting a decade before just starting the development process, they have set themselves up with needing to sell more copies and potentially needing to reach the 8 million mark than if they had just put this out in a reasonable timeframe.
