What a bizzare notion. People watch this show because of novelty. Because it’s funny as hell to have a hyper realistic looking rooster fighting demons. There’s nothing else too it at all. People don’t even begin to respect chickens as a whole in the west.

As a Christian, I don’t really even understand what they’re talking about chickens and austerity. Maybe that’s more like a Medieval Catholic sentiment? No, I love the show 100% because of the absurdity of a seinen anime starring livestock.
