Sorry but you have lost me as a customer. I would love to play this – but like others I am not buying anything that relies on a net connection to install/run. I still play my 20+ year old games on a regular basis. There’s a high chance that in 10 years this will be discontinued and a just a piece of junk.

Sorry, this is a rubbish answer.
So d/l the cart onto the SSD, problem solved. Not enough room on the cart? Use 2. Games use to come on multiple disks or cds all the time.

it just sounds like one excuse after another to me, i refuse to buy a switch 2 period becsuse it lack creativity and game key cards, the switch is just a switch pro because its already 5 years old brand new out of the box the tech is dated they had been working on it for 5 years prior to its release and nothing so far has impressed me like the original switch did and i pre-ordered that on announcment day at E3 in 2017 sooo yeah i took one look at the switch 2 in store it launch line up of 2 full games 12 game key cards and 2 peices of paper in a box took my $700 and bought a bunch of lego with it

So as long as they provide the storage spaces they will be able to play their game so it’s only playable until they pull the cord like many other of their online content games .

Respectfully, I refuse to buy anything from nintendo anymore because of these key cards. I also refuse to purchase any game that requires internet connection.

If I can’t play it offline, if I don’t own what I purchase, if you can shut down my console after I buy it… you will not get any money from me. Im successfully convincing others to stop purchasing from Nintendo as a result of their choices. I don’t care if I have to wait for a loading screen, it’s not that big of a deal. I would rather send a message to corporations than support their greed, and excuses for the decisions they make. Ownership is the only reason I buy things, why would I just give someone my money, without them giving me what I’m owed.
